In the Spirit of Halloween

After the holiday, the children are more than happy to be back in school. Since Halloween is coming up, they have been busy making different creations related to Halloween. The children made spiders, mummies, jack-o-lanterns and ghosts. In the messy trays, they played with black pasta to represent bats with orange rice, and shaving foam and moving eyes to represent spooky ghosts.

Have a happy Halloween!

Enterprise Day: Oatmeal Laces for Sale in F2B

The children made oatmeal laces to sell for Enterprise Day. They put together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, rolled oats, flour and salt. They mixed together the ingredients and put them on the tray to be baked in the oven. We helped them packed the biscuits in bowls and cellophane. For our poster, the children decorated it pompoms. On Thursday, the children took charge in being shopkeepers. Afterwards, they had a chance to go around the different classrooms that sold different products. The children truly enjoyed Enterprise Day.
